an art form
Drift was born on Japan's mountain roads in the 1970s. Drivers like Keiichi Tsuchiya sliding the rear of the car through touge passes gradually grew into a formal racing discipline. Today, drift is a professional motorsport scored on angle, speed, line and show.
The driver intentionally pushes the car past the grip limit. The rear wheels break loose with a scream, the fronts steer into the slide (counter-steer). The goal isn't to be fastest, but to be spectacular and in control. Judges score angle, line, speed and overall presentation.
In Türkiye, drift is officially contested under the TOSFED federation. APEXMASTERS is the digital record of that fight. Drivers, teams, machines and every corner, archived here.

How sideways the car is relative to its direction of travel. Bigger angle, higher score. As long as control holds.
Ideal line
The judge-defined racing line every driver must follow. Clipping point proximity and exit apex both count. Precision matters.

Tuzla Autodrom · one-to-one coaching
A one-day foundation course designed for drivers who have never drifted: theory, controlled slides and full drift laps. Sessions run at Tuzla Autodrom in the academy's BMW E46, with no more than two students at a time.
