Career Summary

Doğukan Hazar Manço is one of the few figures in Türkiye who carry a professional career in both music and motorsport. The eldest son of legendary artist Barış Manço, he took piano and guitar lessons from childhood and began his secondary education at Galatasaray High School before completing a bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning in the United States. After returning to Türkiye in 2008, he built a professional career spanning both broadcasting and the racetrack.

Music & Broadcasting

Manço’s first professional move in music came on 8 February 2009, with a live DJ set at a memorial event for his father; he has worked professionally as a DJ from 2011 onwards. His radio show “Biçilmiş Kaftan” on Radyo Klas has remained one of the long-running programs in its slot. In 2012 he founded Manço Prodüksiyon, his own production company. His single “Sakin Ol,” recorded with Tuğba Yurt, became one of the most-played tracks of 2014.

Drift Career

Manço began drift training in 2010 and quickly established himself among Türkiye’s most recognised professional drift drivers. At the 2019 APEXMASTERS Turkish Drift Series Final held in İzmir, he placed second among 26 competitors and earned Türkiye a second-place finish in the global rankings. At Round 2 of the 2021 season, held at the TOSFED Körfez Racing Track, he topped the scoreboard to take the win. He also finished the elimination round of the Red Bull Car Park Drift Türkiye Final in first place.

His race car is a Nissan 200SX S14 producing 550 hp, registered with TOSFED and equipped with a full roll cage and an automatic fire-suppression system.

Brand Partnerships

Manço handles communications work for automotive brands including TotalEnergies Türkiye and ELF Motor Oils, and represents Türkiye at international showcase events such as Red Bull Car Park Drift. His YouTube channel is followed closely by automotive and drift enthusiasts.
