FOURTH ON THE SHEET, FIRST ON THE PODIUM
Sinam Gazi finished qualifying fourth at İstanbul Park with a 38. Three drivers were ahead of him on the timesheet. By Sunday evening he had beaten the qualifying leader, beaten the qualifying second, and walked out of İstanbul Park as TOSFED Drift Kupası 2026 Round 1 champion.
THE BRACKET
Gazi opened against fifth-seed Ahmet Bağrıaçık in the TOP 8 and advanced. The semifinal put him head-to-head with qualifying leader Durali Bostan, the man who scored a 91 in his single completed run. Gazi took it.
The final was Sinam Gazi vs Cem Djemal, the consistent runner who'd posted 73, 77 and 79 across all three qualifying attempts. Gazi took that one too.

HOW THE TITLE TURNED
Top qualifier Durali Bostan set the highest single-run mark of the day at 91 — but only logged that one clean run; runs two and three were scrubs. The pattern caught up with him in the bracket. Cem Djemal was the inverse story — three solid runs in the high 70s, no spikes, the most consistent driver of the weekend. Gazi's 38 in qualifying didn't suggest a winner. The bracket did.
