Drone and FPV Piloting

Fahri Çakar started flying drones as a hobby and over time turned it into a profession, which he now pursues with Driftherapy and APEXMASTERS. He has been flying drones for about six years, the last four of them professionally as an FPV pilot.

He works on cinematic footage, action sports and above all FPV drone work for automotive and drift projects. He is experienced in drone system builds, technical equipment management, flight tuning and piloting to fit the shot plan. His aim is not just to fly, but to capture footage that adds to the story and the dynamics of the shot.

Meeting Drift and Driftherapy

Çakar’s introduction to drifting came when Abbas Çimen and Örge Pamukçu took part in an event in Antalya. That event became a turning point for him and sparked a strong interest in the sport.

After that he became increasingly involved in the automotive and drift scene. For about five years he has travelled with the Driftherapy team to events across Türkiye, shooting drift and automotive footage with an FPV drone.

Along the way he has gained substantial experience in demanding shooting conditions: high speed, close chase work, rapid changes of direction and cars that never stop moving. For him drifting is not just something to film; it has become a sport he is passionate about and the place where he keeps sharpening his FPV piloting.
